Afternoon Tea Fishmore Hall Hotel Ludlow

Afternoon Tea at Fishmore Hotel
(half afternoon tea pictured)

We had a lovely day in Ludlow last week mooching round the food centre and market before settling down to afternoon tea and prosecco at  Fishmore Hall Hotel.

Cucumber and cream cheese, ham tomato and mustard,
salmon and egg mayonnaise

It felt very decadent to all be together (not working) on a Monday afternoon, to slip off to Ludlow and indulge in this beautiful afternoon tea.

lime and dark chocolate macaroon and coffee cream choux buns

The full afternoon tea came with sandwiches, trifle and macaroons as well as the scones and cakes that you get with the half tea and there was unlimited tea and coffee.

Fishmore Hall hotel also offered a nice range of speciality teas but I decided to go for a coffee.

We ordered three full cream teas, two half cream teas a bottle of prosecco for the five of us and the bill came to £100. It's not the kind of outing we could do regularly but as a birthday treat it was very special and just the kind of memorable day that I had wanted. I even got a scone with a candle in it. There was quite a bit of cake leftover which we asked to have wrapped up and I took it home for Trevor.
