There are so many little feelings that make up the reason that this gorgeous sachertorte is so so special. It was baked for the Sunday bake club. All of those of us at my current job that work Sundays take it in turns to bake. It makes having to do the Sunday shift much easier when there is cake and camaraderie to be had.
That alone would make this cake a Foodie Feels but this one was extra special because I'm starting an exciting new job and this doubled as a farewell cake packed new beginnings and a sassy goodbye.
