Syrup and Sultana Biscuits

These crumbly lovelies aren't too sweet but the Golden Syrup still shines through.

Ingredients
Makes 12
200g plain flour
30g golden caster sugar
50g butter
50g sultanas
3 tbs golden syrup
4 tbs milk
1 tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 175c
Cream the butter and sugar together
Warm the golden syrup in the microwave to make it runnier and more easy to combine.
Mix the syrup with the creamed butter and asugar
Add the flour and baking soda
Combine the ingredients together to form a moist dough
Pinch balls of dough out and place onto a greased baking tray.

Bake for 5 mins then take out of oven and drop the tray onto a flat surface to knock out the air and avoid them rising like cakes. Return to oven for 15 mins until golden
